We got educated on the way up to the falls

Well, Sunday was just a beautiful day (about 70 degrees and sunny) so we decided to take advantage of it by driving up to the Lake Rabun area to go fishing and hiking. We fished for about three or four hours but only caught one small fish...and that one fish was caught by Brooks. Although we did not blow the fish out of the water...Ha Ha...we did have an excellent time and the lake was just gorgeous! After trying our hand at fishing, we decided to go on a hike which was not too far from where we had been fishing. I love going on new adventures and especially new hikes. This trail was really neat and had lots of green, lush undergrowth. It looked like a forest. The hike took about forty-five minutes or so to hike up, but the prize was rewarding. After about 600 yards of walking, we came to the first set of falls, called Panther Falls. Finally, we reached our destination, Angel Falls, and it was so beautiful. Brooks loved it, too...but don't think he wasn't a little shocked by the fact that I had conned him into actually "exercising"! Maybe I should use this trick every time. Ha Ha.
